I had said that the United Nations [or descendant] should take over, in which case 'we' would be We The Sheeple. <Will we become part of OPEC?> We The Sheeple will not become part of OPEC. OPEC is a trade industry group and is a waste of time. Producers should produce if it's in their interests at a particular price and not do so if it isn't. OPEC is a boy's club, which is largely a waste of time, though it's no doubt a lot of fun for the members to have a club hut and make all sorts of rules. <Will it be part of the Depatment of Energy?> No. I didn't know the UN had a Department of Energy. If it has, it should be fired as pointless. If the USA has one, then they should all be told to get real jobs too. <Who explores, digs, removes, refines, prices and markets?> Those who bid the best prices for licences to explore get to do the exploration and production. The rest is just contractual stuff to be determined by open market outcry. The oil in the ground is owned by We the Sheeple. <How are vendors chosen?> Highest bidder. It's actually all very simple.
