Warmongering Without Representation Where Are The Guardians Of Liberty In The New War? I think, down the years, the issues raised here are among the many we will remember. We will all be asked why we did nothing when American liberties were so abridged, without sufficient justification, without attention to democratic procedures which would, partially, justify such. We now see the witch hunts of the 20s and the 50s as a blight on American ideals. I have little doubt these years will join them.
