When are educators going to finally understand that a very large portion of tax payers have lost ALL faith in them, their arcane programs and their social experiments?

I blame the top echelon of educators directly for the state of inner city schools as well as the cutting of some curriculum in most all schools to balance budgets. There is more than enough greed to go around in those halls. For the most part, teachers are good people some of whom feel like I do. I have stories to tell about my tenure in the school system, but I won't go in to it here. I am interested in how educators are going to address me and others who feel this way.

Not surprisingly, no one wants to talk about that including you.

Your position is rational and your concern seems genuine.

Are you willing to go down a path that has never before been considered? Despite the fact that oxes will be gored?

There is simply no way to correct the present system with more money. IMPOSSIBLE.

But by doing a complete relook at education; taking drastic measures the whole problem could be turned around within five years.

Education within the current SYSTEM is lost. All the leadership is about, is functioning, not educating. The system is dysfunctional and so the dialog remains how to correct the dysfunction. We need to remake this entire industry and we need to do it from top to bottom.

Are you bold enough to consider alternatives or just saying so to appear open minded.
