Saddam can go to exile, but Iraq must disarm to our satisfaction. If the deal does not include US troops on the ground in Iraq to make sure of disarmament, then the deal won't fly. Don't know how the markets will react to the CNN piece, but its going to take bombs and bullets to solve the problem of Iraq. The first two weeks of February will probably tell the tale. We shall certainly see if this is true.
