Doesn't the bible tell us to turn the other cheek in the face of attack, cos being meek means we get to inherit the earth? Personally, I think the bible is a totally human creation and nothing to do with God, if such a being exists. But if Bush believes in the Christian God of the bible, then isn't his failure to act by the relevant teachings just going to be seen as a big joke by the rest of the world? Funny that bush gets caught in such a contradiction having already lambasted bin Laden for not being a true muslim cos the qoran says ABC yet bin Laden did XYZ. Anyway, despite the above, I hope that Saddam gets taken out for the sake of a safer world and for the sake of the Iraqi people. I just happen to agree that God should be left out of it cos humans have demonstrated that despite lip service, we don't play by religious teachings.
