Without regulation, the risks are nationalized, period. It's simply all-out kleptocracy, rule of theft. Which is close to what we are becoming at the highest levels, if there isn't a major increase in transparency.

I'm not asking for a situation without regulation. Just without excesive regulation, and with what regulation there is focuses in that areas that it is most needed. Also I'm not just talking about the stock market or business reporting but regulation in general. I don't think it would be easy to make a reasonable argument that the US is underregulated as a whole even if there is areas where more regulation might be needed and many other areas where different regulation might be needed.

Most nationalization of risks is not from lack of regulation but rather from subsidies and bailouts.
