You know what. I'm wrong too. INTC is repurchasing and retiring the stock. Key word retiring it. Cancelling it. No longer exists. Not Treasury Stock. Although in some form it may be given back as options.

Yes cash would be much greater. And the $8 or 9 Billion might be a good estimate for the SE.

SE has declined a bit primarily because INTC spent more on stock repurchases/retirements this year than it made in earnings.
