Forgive me, but Poetry Corner is my SI vacation spot where I hope to form lasting friendships and discuss poetry. I've made several fast friends already and would like to include you in that number. It's my problem, but I can't separate my beliefs about the Second Amendment from my perspective on the poem you posted. If you want to know my views on The Second Amendment I invite you to follow my message history where I've posted quite a few retorts on the subject on other threads. I confess that I have failed to sway a single person to my point of view. It is an intractable subject and people with views are unlikely to change them. I think your youngster had a very wise outlook on pointry. That's exactly what it is.
