[World DRAM Prices] Fluctuations Remain Small in Second Half of December
January 20, 2003 (TOKYO) -- The 30-day moving average prices of 128Mb DRAMs (PC133, 16M x 8 bit) for large-volume users for the period ended Dec. 27, 2002 (Nov. 28 - Dec. 27) were US$2.01 in North America, US$2.05 in Europe and US$1.66 in Asia.

The figures come from a world DRAM price survey by ICIS-LOR, which has bases in London, Houston and Singapore.

Compared to the previous week ended Dec. 20, 2002, the 30-day moving average prices dropped by 0.85% in North America, were down 1.67% in Europe and were minus 1.24% in Asia.

As for the prices of memory modules, the spot prices of 128MB DIMMs (PC133) rose by 1.20% over the previous week to US$14.38 in North America, were up 0.50% in Europe to US$13.54 and increased by 5.60% in Asia to US$15.63.
