Calling it diversity instead of integrate, only changes synmantics, not the inevitable similar outcome.

Call it what you want, but it is racial discrimination.

If someone can develop a form of AA that doesn't discriminate against whites, I'll support it wholeheartedly. In the meantime, it is just one more variation on a despicable act. It does, however, seem worse, when it is institutionalized; at least when individuals are at fault, you can place blame.

Ted Re.. AA is not busing......and the system at Michigan is not the debacle the white race of GOP so fears.

thats news to me. Busing started as an AA program to integrate our schools. Calling it diversity instead of integrate, only changes synmantics, not the inevitable similar outcome.

AA and busing are two separate examples of civil rights legislation just as running a red light and speeding our two separate examples of driving violations.

Damn, if you listen to the school's administrators, this is a tempest in a teapot promulgated by the far right of the GOP.

Funny, that is what they said about high schools 15 yrs ago, and look how that turned out.

Prejudices are promoted primarily by fear. So long as fear rules, humans lose. Put the blame where it belongs.
