To my earlier post, here is the email I just sent to Diana (diana@mrv.com) expressing my frustration with the lack of a press release on the PAL E1/T1 product and the lack of press releases in general. Anyone else who shares my feelings might want to make MRVC aware of your feelings.

Looking at the Systems Support Solution website yesterday I realized/discovered (for the first time) that the MRVC PAL Series FSO product is now available with models to handle either ethernet traffic or T1/E1 traffic. This was news to me and I was kind of upset to learn about this "expanded capability" by visiting a VAR's website. However, when I later checked the MRVC web site I discovered this new capability is also pointed out on the MRVC website.

Back in May MRVC issued a press release regarding the new PAL product, but the press release said "......delivers Breakthrough for Ethernet TRaffic.....". Don't believe I have seen a press release which said anything about PAL being expanded to cover T1/E1 as well as Ethernet traffic.

I am sure MRVC makes a conscious effort to make MRVC sales people and VAR's aware of new products and applications. However, one of my frustrations (shared by alot of other MRVC investors) is that MRVC does not seem to make a conscious effort to issue information (e.g., make press releases) to the financial community and to the investor community.

We can understand MRVC does not want to give competitors information that might be used in such a way to hurt the company. However, we cannot understand why announcements of things like the new T1/E1 PAL product are not released to the public. A proactive IR department could go a long way to helping the company get the recognition it deserves. A proactive IR department might even have customers calling sales asking for information on products rather than requiring sales to send information to customers.

Please share this information (e.g., my frustration) with the appropriate people. PLEASE PUSH FOR A NEWS RELEASE ON THE NEW T1/E1 PAL PRODUCT OFFERING.
