I thought that was called "points".. :9)

But the rhetoric generated over usury by Arab muslims, and how they abhor the "jewishness" of it, is a clear statement as to just how racist their beliefs are. It's not the principle (or interest) that counts.. It's trying to NOT be "Jewish"...

Yet, if I recall correctly, Judaism forbids usury as well...

And I agree with you.. were I the supreme being, simple interest would be fine with me. It's no different than paying me a financial "wage" in exchange for putting my capital to work.
