Re: a Western diplomat closely involved with the investigation into Saddam's nuclear capability yesterday confirmed that the documents showed that Iraq was still attempting to develop its own atomic weapons.

"These are not old documents. They are new and they relate to on-going work taking place in Iraq to develop nuclear weapons," the official told The Telegraph.

Don't you just hate it when these "officials" refuse to identify themselves and attempt to avoid responsibility for their own words. Could it be because this fellow is lying? That's generally the case.

Let's start to demand that the media tell the truth, i.e. that we are being propagandized by these articles which amount to weapons of mass distraction. The product of nefarious disinformation mills that endlessly churn out lies and half-truths to confuse an already befuddled public.

Fortunately, the Telegraph is very much in the minority in Britain, where the general public is about 80% in opposition to Bush's mad scheme of imperial conquest. The Telegraph's lies and distortions notwithstanding.
