There are more applicants than positions in places like the University of Michigan. That does not mean that all of those who do not get in are undeserving, it just means that there is not resources enough for all. I know of no proposals to give space to the undeserving.

Affirmative action is an opportunity.

At the expense of someone who may have worked hard all his/her life to get the same opportunity. An opportunity which may be given to someone less deserving rather than someone more deserving.


Life ain't fair. Look at the slaves.......they worked hard all their life and what did they have to show for it at the end.....a pine box.......if that.
