Yeah, when you stop and think about it, it was worth getting rid of the USSR. At some point that Mexican standoff was going to result in a major nuclear war if it kept going long enough.

In spite of the current idiocy, everyone is actually safer.

And Thomas M seems to forget Reagan

kept the Afghan War with the USSR going- -and supplied the muhajedeen with Stingers which allowed them to win it

did everything he could to encourage openness and democracy in the USSR

Not bad for the worthless POS Thomas believes him to be.
