Re: Your favorite columnist denounces the protest organizers

How annoying. Please desist from lying about where my preferences lay. As a matter of fact, Alterman has lately been remarkable for his ability to be a trivial gossip. The last couple of times I've scanned his output I've just about puked. He's become about as shallow as the Platte River.

Unlike the organizers of Saturday's brilliant rebuke of Bush's malevolence, Alterman is content to be merely an ineffectual and effete critic. Basically, he's reduced himself to the level of a guttersnipe.

If you tear away the veils, what you're likely to find is that Alterman's criticism of ANSWER is based more on Zionist disdain for Islamophiles than anything else. His input into the debate, always meager, has now become suspect as being partisan in favor of the chief criminals against humanity in the Middle East.
