"The scale of that kind of human loss due to this kind of weaponry should it ever come to pass , will be a memory
that will haunt our species for countless generations to come . All rhetoric will fly out the window.

Imagine what Bombay would have looked like, not livable for years ? and Pakistan would have ceased to exist completely , and all this in
30mins of warfare...and then months of sweeping up the dead"

You are right, nuclear war should never come to pass on this planet. Many gen y-ers have no concept of the horror of nuclear warfare or of the planet wide fallout that would end life as we know it. The fall of the Berlin wall gave many of us hope the threat was gone. Now even the president is talking about "nukular" warfare as though it's acceptable. If there is a not a peaceful resolution with Iraq and those people are pushed into a corner, they will fire off whatever they have in defense, hitting Israel who will use nukes, then all hell will break lose and we can kiss our butts goodbye. I believe the sanctions and the UN inspections are working against Iraq. We should focus our energies, moneys and attention and eradicating al Qaeda.
