Ted I am assuming that you think the Latinos endorse those values while the blacks don't. Why do you think that's true of blacks, and not Latinos? When is the last time you have heard Jackson, Sharpton, or any black leader talk about self improvement, All of their talk is about how its whiteys fault. Secondly, proactive statements and actions by local communities to help police rid them of drugs and crime would help change my mind. Thirdly, quit shooting for pie in the sky solutions, do the things which can be done easily, more graduations at high school level, if you aren't good enough for UM just yet, go to technical schools, get good grades, and prove your worth, not just beg for it. Do you really think I listen to a J. Jackson? I find his as offensive as R. Limbaugh or J. Falwell. I take my lead from people I respect. One of those is C. Powell; another is Tiger Woods. And frankly, I think they are all about self improvement. Do you not agree? ted
