Larry, here's Les' data and I assume it's simple ma, otherwise he would call it ema. But ask him. Message 18460088

His 'overall data base' must be the totality of all sector he follows, so it's not a conventional index. Ask.

If the above it true, then Stockcharts' 'number of stocks above 50 dma' would be different because it's for Nasdaq only.
