J.T is there a huge divergence here?
Perhaps it happens all the trime but I really never looked much at these numbers.

It seems people are hugely short the spoos yet long (on average), the Naz.

Does this happen often and what do you make of it.

how many times are you going to base decisions on that number? Since the last time golds up about 25 bucks an ounce. I agree gold it toping out, but these Rydex numbers are next to useless.

jt, thanks for those #'s, i think we probably put in a st bottom in the trading range today, we hit a lot of horizontal support.

some of the surveys are showing too much bullishness but this survey is showing that the regular joe is shorting the market, not buying leveraged upside funds on every pullback, like he was up until about a year and a half ago.
