Oracle polishes portal software

The database company plans to release an upgrade to its 9iAS portal software that should let businesses customize information retrieval and free themselves from relying on IT staff. Oracle on Monday will release software designed to make it easier for business users to access data through a Web browser. cl.com.com

Globex futures show the markets down at the open, which I think should extend in the first 1/2 hour. I'd expect a bounce by mid/late day, however, as alot of indicators are reaching oversold positions. Also, investors may want to take positions in preparation for a big earnings week.
Could get uglier as results come in, but I'd expect the week will be a mixed bag, with SLIGHT bias to the positive side. Enough to get the markets back up again by week's end. That's not to say they will stay there long. But I think that a retest of Dow 9000 is in the works, unless there are some REALLY bad results to come.
