Sherry,

Re: I don't see 200,000 people

There were at least 300,000 in Washington and another 100,000 in San Francisco.

To put this another way, in Washington there was a solid crowd down the entire Mall, about 2 miles in length:

That is about the same size as the Cambodia demonstration in October, 1970 which I attended and was estimated at the time as 500,000 people. In San Francisco, there was a solid phalanx of people filling Market Street from the Civic Center Plazato the Embarcadero, a distance 10 city blocks or 9,000 feet 1.8 miles).

Re: don't see 200,000 people --who is doing the twisting?

You are. So far I've totaled 400,000. Add to that another 20,000 in Portland and 100,000 elsewhere across the U.S. (to take a conservative approach) and we are well over half a million people on the streets on Saturday.

Does it matter even I show you all the facts about the Anti-war rallies?

P.S. Arctic fox with a heavy Israeli accent ;-)?

who is doing the twisting?
The ORGANIZERS. They're the ones who came out with that 200K figure for SF. No independent news source came up with a number over 50K.

THere were NOT 300k people in DC. 20k max.

Maybe 100k in SF.

Another Durray LIE.

The fact of the matter is that, with the discoveries of the last week, the only "common folk" who showed up to march (for a bloody handed dictator named Saddam) had failed to read the news last week... Not uncommon with that sort of common.

The corps of protestors here, just like everywhere else, are the same quasi rads that will protest any action the US has taken or will take - ever. Note the extremely small turnouts overseas.

Durray is a fine example of this twisted, inbred species of parasite.
