Godfrey, The Turkish Ambassador was interviewed by C-SPAN in early December. He indicated that more than 80% of the population of Turkey are opposed to the war. The disruption to trade will be very costly to Turkey. Additionally, Turkey recently sent a trade delegation to Baghdad, over 350 businessmen decided to join the trip and negotiate with Saddam's regime and its cronies. Apparently they aren't too concerned about a purported upcoming regime change. -Ray
