It's amazing with age truly does come wisdom. I would take off to drive home from work in -20 with just my work clothes on and driving some 300 dollar POS that barely ran and not give it a thought when I was 18. Now short of rebuilding the engine or something there isn't much I can't handle with my supplies and being cold and trapped is of no concern whatsoever even for an extended period. I also carry 10 gallons of gas when traveling areas that are very remote such as hunting out west or hunting/fishing in the UP where you can easily go 60 miles from town to town.
