Still irrelevant, but hey, if you want to steer the conversation that way, be my guest. And anyway, this is University of Michigan, not Michigan State. The "U of" schools are more selective, i.e. merit-based. If you want to reject more qualified applicants for less qualified ones due to race, you better call it for what it is: a handout.
