And about consensual sex between adults, gambling, insider trading, suicide, and the wide host of other completely victimless "crimes" that have arisen of America's increasing desire for momentary security and state-orchestrated egalitarianism over personal responsibility and freedom.

My "evil" is beer.
A drug. But legal. Licensed, inspected, and taxed.

And without (most) of the rather nasty social side effects of the illegal drugs.

Except, of course, when beer was ILLEGAL. Then it had ALL of the rather nasty social side effects of the illegal drugs.

Is there a lesson here?
