JC, In Louisiana, Republicans had less difficulty distancing themselves from david duke than most liberals have with Ramsey Clark, Chumpsky or AlGore Vidal Sassoon. Are right wingers more slick or are left wingers more naive? I do remember a time that the right had a real hard time with the John Birch society(mid sixties). And i do remember a time when the left woke up and threw off the communists among them back in the late forties-early 50s. mike
