"blame the rich"

No one blames the rich

In fact, polls show most in the US believe they are, or will themselves someday be rich ...

The real argument revolves around budget priorities, i.e., should there be (a)less spending, and if so where and (b)tax relief and if so where.

Many outside the administration believe payroll tax relief, rather than higher-end earners, will have greater and more immediate impact on the economy.
