actually it peaked at 15% in late 1982.
i agree with you 100% that gold was in a bubble in '79 the nas in a bubble in '00 as well as the dow and s&p still in a bubble.
But there are some other issues that i believe will drive gold to a new bubble...one is there are estimates that 15 years worth of production are sold short..its not hard to imagine what that will do.
