John, surely you are not suggesting that only passionate supporters of the Bushies support the interests of the US government?

Changing the subject are we? You present yourself to this board, Nadine, as among other things, a passionate supporter of the Bushies on foreign policy. And I would add, an articulate one. It should hardly be surprising that you would find the one line statements of demonstrators opposed to the policies of this administration to appear "unreasonable.

As for the throwaway line about "support the interests of the US government" that's hard to know how that plays a role here. Who gets to say what those are? Last time I checked, we all did and we got to say so by voting, petitioning, demonstrating, visiting our congressional representatives, the full gamut. I don't get told what they are by the Bushies and then salute; I get to say no, that's a misunderstanding, and by golly I intend to use the political tools available to me to make my point.

Well, I did intend to stop talking about this. But my fingers are to blame.
