Intel Operating Chief Otellini Files To Sell 900,000 Shares

WASHINGTON -(Dow Jones)- Intel Corp. (NasdaqNM:INTC - News) President and Chief Operating Officer Paul Otellini filed to sell 900,000 shares of the company's common stock, according to a Form 144 released Tuesday by the Securities and Exchange Commission.



Otellini listed Jan. 16 as the approximate date of sale for the shares, which he valued at $16 million. The broker is PaineWebber Inc., according to the filing.

Shares of Intel recently traded at $16.30, down 4 cents or 0.2%.

A Form 144 indicates an intention to sell restricted stock, but it isn't a commitment to do so.

In a Form 4 filing later Tuesday, Otellini reported that he sold 500,000 option-related shares Jan. 16.

Otellini acquired the shares for $3.41 a share and sold them for $17.15 to $ 17.32 a share. After the transactions, he directly owned 388,787 common shares and indirectly owned 4,591 common shares.

In an additional Form 4 filing Tuesday, Otellini reported the sale of 500,000 more option-related shares Friday.

Otellini acquired the shares for $3.41 and sold them for prices from $16.38 to $16.64 a share.
