Read "Dependent on DC", by C. Twight, who has done a scholarly study of how the gov't deceives expertly, before declaring the "reversal theory" to be claptrap. She's GOP I believe, if that matters. As far as "Bush and administration are nice guys and completely trustworthy, to the extent we don't need any further disclosure of what they do in the back rooms", that's not a possible conclusion, either. Yet one might (wrongly) assume there are many who come to that conclusion, based on your declarations of sticking with the "mainstream". Such unexamined faith in individual gov't officials when the fate of the country and citizen's safety is at stake ... It's not only unwarranted, it's against the principles of our country's founding.
