Yes, the opposition to war is clear and growing. Unfortunately, Bush has chosen to play the superpower card -- and to hell with what the rest of the world thinks, or even what Americans think. Bush controls the most powerful military force in the world. He vowed to use force to implement a US-led policy of regime change in Iraq -- a policy that other country could buy into. Even Blair had to go on television and proclaim that he is not a Bush's lapdog. Bush might hope that Saddam helps him out and goes into "exile". This seems highly unlikely.

Do you realize that 19% of France's population is muslim? And the french authorities are afraid of that 19%.
