If the medicinal cannabis folks were serious about their cause, and not just using it as a stalking horse to get marijuana legalized generally, they would start a company, do the research, and take it to the FDA to be approved like any other drug. Then MDs could proscribe it like any other drug. Too onerous? Well maybe they should put out their pipes, and join the effort to stop the FDA from being a barrier to the introduction of good and necessary drugs.
