Buyer Beware...

History can repeat itself...Too many folks believed the President going into VietNam and we know how that turned out...I would feel A LOT more comfortable with a real war hero as our President (eg. John Kerry (D), Chuck Hagel (R), Colin Powell, etc.)...all of these folks have been out in the trenches and really have a complete appreciation for what war is all about...These folks are very thoughtful, patient and knowledgable about foreign affairs...All of the folks I referred to (from both sides of the aisle) tend to favor a multi-lateral approach to dealing with problems overseas. I also think they have more integrity than our current President (and Cheney for that matter). How could Bush, Cheney and Rumsfeld actually let a former Enron Exec. (Secretary White) run our Army?...talk about trust....When will Cheney's secret meetings with folks to craft national energy policy be released? I'm all in favor of accountability and transparency -- especially if I'm going to support and trust leaders of a country or a company. Bush seems to shoot from the hip too much...and he doesn't seem to be willing to partner with The United Nations to solve global problems --> in the last year we have antagonized more countries around the world than ever before...that's sad. The War on Terror must be fought BUT in an intelligent way. The U.S. needs to lead by example and stop acting like a global policeman and a bully.
