TL, I am not a Bush fan I simply dislike Clinton. If Lt. Col. Holmes account does not bother you so be it. I don't recall hearing that Reagan served during WWII and if not - why not. I don't think one was able to dodge during WWII and get away with it. They drafted up to age 38 .Obviously, it was much more " popular" than Nam and many were eager to enlist. During WWII my father and uncles all enlisted. I had two uncles drop out of high school to enlist- one was only a month from graduation. My friend's father operated a Higgins boat during D-Day at Omaha Beach - 2nd wave he lost a son during Nam. My position is anti- Clinton - not pro Bush 43. mike
