That's a lovely set of questions, Mike. You ask me to offer my explanation for the state of the world and then tell me it won't be possible for me to do so. I've offered and keep offering my views on the Iraqi invasion prospects, repeatedly, on this thread. And will continue to do so. You can track them from previous posts or just keep checking in. No doubt I'll have to do so again. The best text around is the Mearshimer (sp??) post that was offered some time back.
