Shiite Islam will be a major casualty in the coming democratic revolution, and the more-thoughtful mullahs and ayatollahs are already joining the ranks of the revolutionaries. Thanks for providing another example of that little "truism" about scoundrels seizing any opportunity to maintain their power and influence, including instant ideological epiphanies.. And not that isn't often very important to providing legitimacy for change.. because it is. It just provides a glaring indication that the old guard is having the rug pulled out from under their feet by those who see an opportunity to ride the wave of coming revolution. And in this case, I think it's a sign that the current government is in for some serious turmoil. Hawk
