I see that the U.S. knew about the use of chemical weapons, but not that the U.S. sold any chemical weapons. Can you point to the section in the article, where it is stated that the U.S. sold such weapons?

Glad to be of assistance :)

Another one of your "Impartial" Internet sites. You must be one of these "Third World" types who believes that "If it is on the Internet it must be true!"

Please list the [chemical and biological] weapons systems that the United States sold to Iraq.

Glad to be of assistance :)

Zonder.. I know of no instance that the US sold "weapons systems" to Iraq. And nothing in those links denotes any examples either..

What they denote is the potential "dual-use" technology and medical research samples were provided, WITHIN the parameters of the law. None of those items is listed on the US Munitions list, thus they can not be classified as "weapons systems".

Any conversion of those items provided from commercial applications to military use is a violation of the export contracts. And that violation would be on the part of the Iraqis, not the US.
