That is why a remedy as simple as ignoring that discrimination for admissions purposes is valid.

How is "discriminating against whites" the same as "ignoring that discrimination"? Your logic is totally convoluted.

Perhaps, but the real solution is to focus even more on the abilities and eliminate the discrimination. Affirmative action not only introduces a form of reverse discrimination, it also de-emphasizes the abilities even more, thereby unwittingly affirming the agenda of racists.

Why give racists even more of a reason to push an "us vs. them" mentality?
