Maybe you should actually read what you posted. If you strip the allegation that "the US provided Iraq with bioweapons" down to the bare facts, during the 1980's, various Iraqi organizations obtained bacteriological samples from ATCC, primarily, and a few universities. ATCC, the source of most of the various biological samples that Iraq got, is a local organization. My son is friends with the daughter of a scientist who works there. They're the premiere source of biological samples for researchers in the country, maybe in the world. To those who don't understand biological research, it probably sounds very strange that researchers can order samples of anthrax, plague, and lots of other deadly bacteria, but it's so, even today. But Iraq is no longer on the list of places it's ok to provide them to. It's like saying "Dell supplied Iraq with computers" or "Ford supplied Iraq with trucks." Not terribly exciting once you understand the facts. Things you can get from ATCC: Bacteria Bacteriophages Cell Lines & Hybridomas Filamentous Fungi & Yeast Plant Tissue Cultures Plant Seeds Protozoa & Algae Viruses & Antisera Animal Plant atcc.org They're also a source for stem cells. stemcells.atcc.org Interesting place, cool organization. Affiliated with world class research centers, like NIH and Johns Hopkins.

All seven school teams participating in the tournament are named after other "Shahids"[those who died for Allah]. The article did not specify whether children or adults are participating in the championship event held at the school.
