giving athletes special priorities, the poor priority over the rich etc. It isn't the issue. Personally, I don't feel that athletes should receive any priority whatsoever. If I remember correctly, you were all for your daughter getting some assistance or help. No way. There are no circumstances in which one of my family would take a handout. I want my daughter to have a FAIR shot -- equal chance with the other applicants. That's all. She was applying for a JOB at a university. Blacks were given a preference over her for getting the job, even though the general guidelines call for GPA to determine.
