This way corporations have more money to invest, provide jobs, etc. Plus higher stock prices since the EPS figures should be higher.

Why dont we scrap the whole idea an not tax capital gains instead, with perhaps some cap.

Companies aren't hiring and ceratinly do not need to expand capex. We have mammoth overcapacity.

Because corporations don't vote in presidential elections, people do!!!!! There is more of a political motive for not taxing dividends than there is an economic motive.

How about we stop taxing Corporations all together? They don't pay taxes anyhow, their customers do. Tax their dividends as income to the receiver and leave it at that.
