address the questions that I have raised about denying humanity.


And perhaps you will answer the other side of the question, about why an individual has any obligation NOT to deny humanity by committing suicide if he or she wants to. Why the government should punish someone for deciding that continuing to live is intolerable, and force them to keep living an intolerable life.

(Here Neo wants to let a woman abort a baby because it would be intolerable to force her to carry the child of a rape, but you want to force a person to continue living a life they find intolerable. Interesting juxtaposition, sometimes the government is sympathetic to intolerable situations and lets the individual cause death to eliminate the intolerability, other times not. Why the difference?)
