"Until everyone agrees that the fairness of democracy should be the frame work for a beginning, these messes will just keep popping up." Moemac, Doesnt even have to be democracy--just a basic respect for human rights. I can live with benign dictatorships and we cannot impose democracy on the world and although the movement is clearly to democracy it comes in different ways. For instance if in 20 years china is a democratic country the fact they are far from perfect now is not a big deal. If it takes 200 years on the other hand.......... mike
