Regardless of it, I hope you're right. Nevertheless I suspect Bush wishes to lead a war only on the merit of existing circumstances. Indeed he seems a bit incredulous that others will not support him-- as if he has already made a sufficient case for an attack on Iraq.

Well, the case is sufficient for me because I will not forget some 4000 murdered Americans. But, as preposterous as it may sound, the general American memory is so short it can easily forget the sting of something even of so great a magnitude as that, though it was but a short time ago. Bush appears to have forgotten that and now must rely on some secret informational weapon to make his case. It did not have to be this way, but now that it is we'll just have to wait and see what turns up.
