Lindy,

Your debate with John shines an important light on the stakes in the Islamists War. If the US does not succeed in Friedman's term, "stopping the export of undeterables", the American way of life and presumed freedoms will be permanently damaged. If another group gets into the US and executes a large attack, the use of profiling will rise exponentially. The slight intolerance of Muslim-Americans will explode into hatred. Immigration policy will stiffen. Police survaillence of the general population will increase. The threat of regular terrorist attacks demands that a country defend itself. The US will either take the war to them or they will bring it to the US.

Paul

I am not posting that people who go to these rallies are traitors. I am just saying that is how Terrorist tradecraft works. I think you are just too sensitive on this issue.

Ah, it's ever so good to know I'm in the presence of a person who genuinely knows about terrorist tradecraft.

Just to get serious, best you go back to checking out the chairs at Borders. I'm just checking out the exercise machine downstairs. Oh, good, no FBI agents hanging out down there. After reading my posts on SI. Given the flavor of them, who knows, some industrious FBI agent, reading the Bill manual on tradecraft, might just wish to check all the opponents of Bush policies.

I gather we best give up this pinging and ponging.
