this is almost a blowout in this climate, 30mm over estimates on the revenue side. To put this in perspective, remember last january software demand was fairly robust. Sebl stock was in the 30s after his "man who sees around corners" Forbes cover. So to do only 5% less revs than last january is not bad. 4:27PM PeopleSoft beats by $0.04 on revenue upside (PSFT) 17.47 -0.05: Reports Q4 (Dec) earnings of $0.18 per share, $0.04 better than the Multex consensus of $0.14; revenues fell 5.1% year/year to $512.3 mln vs the $482.3 mln consensus.
