Steve,

<<<Now if I was a betting man, I would guess the State of Michigan is more than 65% Caucasian.

Can anyone dig up that info?>>>

From memory, I think I read in USA Today (maybe yesterday) where the Hispanic population is now 13% of US population surpassing blacks at 12%. Asians are 6% and mixed race individuals are another 2%.

If Michigan is like the rest of the US, 65% caucasian is about right.

<<<Liberal logic quickly collapses upon it's own weight because it does not begin with a foundation based upon facts.

In today's WSJ, Al Hunt writes about US Service Academies (Air Force, Naval Academy, West Point, and Coast Guard). They have a very aggressive and successful diversity/affirmative action program.

US higher education in general has had very aggressive and successful affirmative action programs. US Universities (including the service academies) are the envy of the world. This is one area that we are clearly the best - by a wide margin. Why screw it up?
