The New Republic verifies the story, and points out that Pickering is supported by black groups within his state. It concludes he is no racist, although it considers him lacking in judicial temperament......

I gather we are all going to see, in gruesome detail, all about it.

It will be gruesome. We are going to get "Borked." The truth on the right, the smear on the left. But the nice part is, when the screaming and hollering is done, they will get appointed. And you are going to hate it.
